I'm passionate about coaching student athletes to become the best they can be during their time at Mount Si. Everyone has the potential to improve as an athlete, teammate, student and individual. My hope is for Mount Si Track and Field to be an atmosphere that encourages excellence and development on and off the track/field. Success is having each athlete become better and stronger (athletically and personally) as they progress through the program, leaving Mount Si as well-rounded student/athletes.

Head Sprint/Relay Coach
Sophie Rockow "As a former four-year Varsity student-athlete in the Mount Si High School Track and Field Program, I am so excited to be a part of it all again as a coach! While in the program I competed in the 100 and 200 meter sprints, the 4x100 and 4x200 sprint relays, and triple jump. I was fortunate enough to be a part of a group of dedicated and talented female student-athletes during my time in the program (2009-2012), and over that period the girls team earned multiple first place finishes at invitationals, two KingCo 3A League Championships (2009, 2010), and 5th (2009) and 6th (2010) place finishes at the WIAA 3A State Championship Meet.
Competing for this program provided me with some of the greatest times I had as a student-athlete, and now as a coach I'm looking forward to helping our current student-athletes create similar memories. There is no better feeling than helping people learn new things and accomplish their goals through hard work, dedication, and a passion for what they're doing, and I am looking forward to giving back to a program that gave so much to me! Go Cats!" |
